故事发生在繁华的大都市上海，未婚妻苏菲（林湘萍 饰）的莫名失踪成为了陆云飞（霍建华 饰）难解的心结，时至今日，他依然不愿放弃任何一次能够找到苏菲的机会。命运对陆云飞开了一个玩笑，凭借着手中仅存的一个号码，陆云飞没有找到苏菲，却和名叫慕北北（韩雪 饰）的小镇女孩相识了。 相隔千里，依靠着虚拟的电子信号，陆云飞和慕北北之间的联系越来越频繁，尽管两人都不知道彼此的真面目，但两颗心的距离却越来越近。在命运的作弄之下，陆云飞和慕北北曾经四目相对，但又各奔东西，这一对依靠缘分相识的男女，又是否拥有能够携手走到最后的缘分呢？。U.S. version of the British show 'Love Island' where a group of singles come to stay in a villa for a few weeks and have to couple up with one another.
