Comedy about the proverbial genie who comes out of a bottle (a table lamp in this instance) to serve his new master. The only problem is that instead of helping his master, the genie (Burl Ives) tends to get his master (Tony Randall) into more predicaments than he gets him out of.。一群考古学家在以色列的古城遗迹，发现了现存最古老的圣经古卷，古卷中记载着上帝要诺亚打造的第二座方舟，但这座方舟并非用来装载动物，而是为了将人间最恐怖的恶灵怪物放逐到世界尽头！然而恶灵的势力过于庞大，连当时的末日洪水也无法加以摧毁，邪恶势力就这样沉睡千年，只是没想到考古学家们误打误撞将方舟内的恶灵唤醒，他们必须摒除己见，携手共同抵御来势汹汹的邪恶势力。。
