The Karate Dog is a 2004 made for TV movie starring Chevy Chase, Simon Rex, Jon Voight, and Jaime Pressly. Nicollette Sheridan and Pat Morita also make appearances. The film teams a speaking dog named Cho Cho (voiced by Chase) with a police detective (played by Rex) in solving the murder of Cho Cho's owner Chin Li (played by Morita). The film originally aired on the ABC Family Channel on Monday, May 29 2006 at 7PM eastern.。本剧讲述了山冈优子（石田光饰）和义正（甲本雅裕饰）结婚后生了两个孩子，成为了一家人。4个人长期生活在同一个屋檐下，孩子们都离巢了，虽然觉得“随时都可以4个人聚在一起”，但是一旦离开家就很难再回来。夫妻之间的对话越来越少，和孩子们的关系也越来越疏远。对分离的家人感到寂寞的某一天，优子参加了悬赏应征的“一家人一起去！两天一夜的会津之旅”。虽然有些犹豫，但还是联系了孩子们，没想到他们爽快地答应了。为了让“家族”重新来过，山冈家的“周末旅行”现在开始了。。
