唐亦琛（吴镇宇 饰）是一个对自己要求十分严格的人，身为高级副机长的他面对工作态度一丝不苟。小时候父母吵架，母亲一怒之下飞离香港，把母亲用飞机接回来的愿望成为了亦琛工作最大的动力。在罗马他邂逅了阿bell（陈慧珊 饰），2天燃烧炽烈的感情最终因为一个误会，二人就此分离。再见面时亦琛惊讶地发现阿bell已经成为好友vincent（马德钟 饰）的妻子，二人仍然认为彼此是不负责任的爱情骗子，却也发现自己原来对对方仍然念念不忘。Zoe（胡杏儿 饰）是21岁的年轻少女，自幼患有先天性心脏病，因在飞机上病发时得到过亦琛的帮忙，于是考到飞机场地勤部工作。她对亦琛的爱慕并没有引起亦琛的重视，直到亦琛的视力出现问题，可能永远不能驾驶飞机时，才感受到一直陪伴在身边的zoe的重要，二人正式在一起。然而当阿bell明白当年和亦琛是因误会而分开时，感情的天秤出现失衡，严重影响了和vincent的婚姻。Vincent在外国因救人而牺牲，阿bell开始后悔莫名歇斯底里。这时zoe的心脏病开始复发，他们最终会写下一个怎样的结局？。影片故事发生在“莱咖国”政权交替之际，黑势力头目宋邦（曾志伟饰）欲洗白，勾结官员行贿，但遇到了巨额资金缺口。得力干将郑咤（安志杰饰）与身份成谜的打手苏万（汪东城饰）杀人越货、横行作恶，一步步帮“老板”上位。就在宋邦以为坐收渔翁之利时，三人的关系发生了惊人反转。。A lonely tow-truck driver gets caught in a deadly struggle between a pair of bank robbers with a beautiful hostage, local cops, and a monster that has come down from the Arizona mountains to eat human flesh.
