Maanagaram will focalize upon Chennai city as one of the major characters in this film, where the backdrops would indeed become a prominent ingredient of this tale.。《喜耕田的故事》是一部反映我省晋西北农村现实题材的主旋律作品，由省文明办、山西电影制片厂、太原市委宣传部及中央电视台影视部联合拍摄。全剧以2006年中央免征农业税和建设社会主义新农村为背景和切入点，以一个进城务工的普通农民喜耕田返乡后的生活为主线，通过一系列生动有趣的故事情节，表现了新时期农民的所思所想和喜怒哀乐，展示了亿万农民在党的领导下，建设社会主义新农村的生动实践。这是我省文艺工作者着力在新的历史发展阶段，贴近生活，贴近时代，贴近群众，关注“三农”问题的一次有益尝试和探索。。
