物語は前編『イツワリノウタヒメ』エンディングの3か月後から始まる。回想シーンを除けばほぼ完全新作の作画によるオリジナルストーリーでクライマックスへと進行し、戦闘・歌・恋愛・謀略といった要素が目まぐるしく展開する。。A group of happy animal friends live in a beautiful big forest. One day, unusual things start to happen: the Owl has gone missing, and the river spills over and is getting closer to their homes. Led by the Fox and the Hare, the animals unite in search of their friend the Owl, to find out what is going on, and to save their homes…。
