Inspired by the “parachute kids” he knew growing up, writer/director Johnson Cheng explores the emotions of a daughter who is allowed ...。一对年轻的毛利族男女真心相爱，但厄运却从天而降：青年男子的未婚妻却被巫师宣布为“禁忌者”，要用船运到远方处死。他们在痛苦中诀别，姑娘被巫师们押着上了船。年轻人在绝望中跳下水，希望能同心爱的人永远生活在一起。他奋不顾身地泅水前行，抓住船上的绳索就像抓住最后的希望，但残酷的巫师却将绳索割断，精疲力竭的年轻人消逝在湍急的水流中……的缆绳，可是船上的巫师却把绳子割断，巨浪滔天，青年为了爱情悲壮地葬身于大海。。
