周小龙与父亲周飞鸿生活在大澳，与师妹毛毛是一对单纯的欢喜冤家。某天，小龙的师叔毛仁到大澳躲债，飞鸿托阿仁把儿子小龙带到香港发展，阿仁意外发现了小龙高超的台球技术，便决定利用小龙进行赌博。黑帮龙哥看中了周家大澳的田地，便要求阿仁以地皮为赌注。小龙面对世界级高手，压力巨大因此输掉了比赛。毛毛为了鼓励小龙，把自家的田地也作为赌注，决定要再次把自己的土地赢回来，但压力仍然困扰着小龙，比赛一度落后……。主角是一个曾经学过法律的屠宰场工人，三年前女友被车撞死，司机逃逸。如今，他发现了肇事者，并将他杀死。有一个女子知道他的杀人真相和他的身份，但并没有告发他，而是跟他陷入一桩没有前途的恋爱关系...。A mother and a daughter struggle to climb the Swiss Alps while they dig into a past that the mother has spent years suppressing.
