An unforeseen ...。本作の主人公は結婚3年目の専業主婦・鳥山未知留。仕事で出会った未知留と蒼と結婚生活は、当初思い描いていた理想から少しずつズレていた。ある日、未知留は、安心な不倫ができるサブスクリプションサービス「ビュッフェ」の存在を知る。そのサービスは、メイクやヘアセット、ドレスのレンタル、デート場所の予約などすべてをサブスクで利用することが可能で、かつ秘密も保持できるサービスだった。入会を決めた未知留はカメラマンの淳弥や大病院の御曹司・剣太郎との出会いを通じて、暴走する自己承認欲求と課金のループから抜け出せなくなっていく。。
