村医林天遭全城通缉后逃至偏远山区，借住农夫家。农夫儿子腿伤，林天说明医疗条件有限、出问题不负责后帮忙手术，术后农夫反悔挑衅。林天持枪追夫妇，又送其就医，却遇被救活的反派。反派携父寻仇时，警察赶到，林天放弃抵抗，反派受惩，林天也获法律严惩。。The Moliere players are in their dressing room, getting ready to go on set. One actor mentions to another that his face reminds him of an opportunist turncoat he knew when he was in the Resistance. He then relates the adventure that he had in the Resistance, running an illegal radio station and dodging the Nazis.。
