本剧改编自浅见理都的同名漫画，讲述了原警察的父亲山下春生（中川雅也饰）在平安夜被杀，其女儿山下心麦（广濑铃饰）以父亲遗留下来的信件为线索追查真相的人性犯罪悬疑故事。父亲留下的信中写着“冤罪”二字。在逼近事件真相时，现在和过去的两个事件错综复杂地交织在一起...。本片背景在二次大战前夕，德国货轮艾根号由澳洲监管下逃出，只求全舰平安返乡，结果却被德国塑造成海上英雄，最后被纳粹政府当饵，成为英军追击目标。本片情节丰富，演员的表演出色，但拍摄手法欠缺新意。。After his tribe is slaughtered through an act of treachery, Hongi, a Maori chieftain's teenage son, must avenge his father's murder in order to bring peace and honor to the souls of his loved ones.
