儿子打算把家里的老藏獒卖给乡上的狗贩子，父亲坚持留住这只老狗，并在路上追回准备把狗卖掉的儿子与那只藏獒。接着，老人把狗藏在山上。然而放到山上的藏獒再次被别人卖到狗贩子的手里，即将被运往内地作为宠物。儿子为了要回藏獒与狗贩子发生冲突，最后被警察拘留，年迈的父亲无奈中不得不做出艰难的决定。。年轻气盛的墨西哥厨师佩德罗（劳尔·布里奥内斯饰）怀揣梦想来到了纽约的一家餐厅工作，却成了麻烦制造者。佩德罗爱上了女服务员朱莉娅（鲁妮·玛拉饰），却因为被指控偷钱给朱莉娅堕胎，面临失业危机。佩德罗在异国他乡的追梦之旅被迫中断，一切开始朝着不可收拾的地步发展。。Guy is an experienced British fighter pilot who is in command of Britain's first manned mission to space.
