《走近皮克斯》共有四个章节，共20集。这一系列纪录短片将带领大家深入了解皮克斯动画台前幕后的精彩故事。第一章“灵感”于2020年11月13日在Disney+上线，每集约12分钟。 Produced by Pixar Animation Studios, Inside Pixar is directed by Erica Milsom and Tony Kaplan, the series offers insights into the personal and cinematic stories that provide an inside look into the people, artistry, and culture of Pixar Animation Studios.。故事描写一位高阶的苏联军官投诚美国后，透露出一个惊人的消息：一名代号“黄宝石”的法国间谍，不断的将北大西洋公约组织的秘密透露给卡斯楚与苏联政府。于是，法国秘密特务安德鲁受命前往当地调查，在美国中情局官员的帮助下，他们赫然发现这名顶尖的法国官员，竟然是苏联特务！他们两人是否能揭露间谍“黄宝石”的真面目呢？。
