The film, dealing with theme of war and shot in black and white, remained unnotice...。故事发生在以民国初年，袁世凯复辟意欲登基称帝。届时，袁世凯绞杀南方革命党的行动甚嚣尘上。全国上下人人自危的局势为故事背景，展开一系列在动荡局势所迫下发生的精彩故事。 主人公程子凡本性善良，在大婚之日遭人陷害被军法处缉捕，投入大牢。在狱中程巧遇一神秘老人，老人在临终之时告诉程大汉奸汪直的藏宝图。程子凡出狱后，利用这批宝藏向当年陷害他的人进行复仇。在过程中程子凡被革命思想所引导，逐渐发现个人的恩怨再大也不如民族的解放事业重要，遂放弃了复仇，转而投奔解放革命事业。。
