该片讲述1930年7月，毛泽东、朱德率领红一军团从汀州向长沙进军途中，来到高安，开展土地革命。高安女子学校的6名富家女子毅然放弃了家中的优越生活，决定参军，随后跟随着毛泽东、朱德、周恩来转战南北，参加长征，成为“巾帼英雄”的故事。。Try as he might, the roguishly handsome Cliff Starkey, just can't keep out of trouble. In his sleepy home town on the English coast, nothing much inspires him...apart from bowls. Cliff has always preferred to play by his own rules much to the disapproval of the regimented, elderly bowls fraternity. Before long, the bay boy of bowls is turning the sedate and very English pastime...。
