本劇描述居住在台灣的外籍移工故事。越南男人黎文誠為了家鄉的父母妻子，來到台灣、登上了漁船，成了台灣的漁工，狹仄的船艙裡頭還擠著另外兩個同樣來自越南的漁工阿海、昌文。文誠和阿海臭味相投，成為好友，也是受到排擠欺負時，互吐苦水的難兄難弟。。A nine part series depicting the varying fortunes of four friends - Nicky, Geordie, Mary and Tosker - from the optimistic times of 1964 to the uncertainties of 1995.
