Ray takes Jonny on (he uses his job as a courier to steal credit cards), but Jonny soon finds ...。女孩布兰卡偷窃乞讨露宿街头，家对她而言只是妄想。当她在电视上看到领养的新闻，灵光乍现想要买个妈妈。于是她努力存钱，还找街头走唱的盲眼吉他手老皮帮忙。她成为老皮的眼睛，两人一起离开贫民窟，来到大城市打拼流浪。一路上遇见形形色色的人物，经历大大小小的冒险，布兰卡真的能够如愿买到心中理想的妈妈吗？。
