该片是根据经典爆笑话剧《狂恋高跟鞋》改编，是一部都市淘金记。主人公马路和肥猫是一对儿患难兄弟。他们离开家乡来到城市，为了寻求美好的梦想。然而，城里的花花世界并不是他们简简单单的头脑所能够理解的。哥俩儿终日盘算着如何挣钱，做了许多啼笑皆非的事。他们租了一间地下室，透过小小的窗口，马路每天都能看见一双美丽的“红色高跟鞋”——一个喜欢跳舞的女孩儿——经过。然而，他始终没有机会看清女孩儿的样子。。雕刻厂的老技师李老汉一手雕刻的绝活远近文明，很受村里人的尊敬，五个女儿嫁出去四个，家里渐渐的冷清起来，李老汉最近一直有个心结，家里有个很宝贵的盒子，据李老汉自己说里面放着的是传家之宝，为了将宝贝传下去，老汉考验起了几个女儿的孝心……。A project dealing with self-acceptance, food and media abuse.
