平凡的人家，正在为去世的男主人三轮举行七周年忌。三轮生前的好友间宫宗一、田口秀三、平山精一郎如期而至，回首往事自是唏嘘不已。未亡人秋子独自拉扯女儿文子长大。而如今女儿已到了适婚年龄，秋子拜托间宫等人帮文子张罗对象。经间宫介绍，文子认识了其部下后藤庄太郎。可是她担心婚后母亲孤苦伶仃，无论如何也不能下定决心独自寻找幸福。也许该忘记过去向前走一步，也许该为了女儿和自己的幸福尽力去争取。长久思念着亡夫的秋子，沉湎在往日的幸福中苦守寂寞。。该剧讲述了比血还浓，比金子更坚韧的奇怪家庭的诞生。。A group of 10 disparate people, strangers to each other, have all traveled to Africa believing they have won a fabulous vacation safari.
