卡尔•海菲尔德看上去是个无所不能的人。他能力不凡，性情固执，行事果断，几年之间建立起一个繁荣的国际运输公司，把自己造就成百万富翁。在这个过程中，他结交了许多朋友，也树立了不少敌人。有一次，他遭到袭击，妻子受重伤，女儿伊安被绑架。海菲尔德极不情愿地让警察参与到与绑匪的谈判中来。但是，警察的行动并不成功，反而怀疑他非法把有毒工业废物运到东欧。海菲尔德决定抛开警察。2005年索菲亚国际电影节回顾单元评选的“保加利亚影史十部最伟大影片”之一。 A large balloon suddenly appears above villages and fields and grabs the attention of the peasants.
